Family - Knowing and Feeling

Been some time since I last post a blog on here. Had quite an eventful time recently.

And as for the country, it's been the same. Quite evident by all the sounds of ambulances. It seems we are reverting to the ugly days of terror. In a way I'm wondering if this is what the people wanted, after all they had the power of choice. Anyways, enough on that.

Well my friends, today I'm going to talk about something highly important but many folks overlook and at the end all regret - Family - Loved ones. I'm hoping to keep things very simple and compact.

The world today has become very time conscious, they invent things to save time and make living easier. Yet where does all this saved time go? How do you spend it? Take a look at the normal executive, comes to work in the morning, spends around 10hrs. at work - now that make 14hrs. left for the rest of the stuff like commuting, meals, grooming, errands, sleep, etc. and all these are personal stuff. How much time do you spend with your Family? Parents? Siblings? Grand parents? Cousins? Uncles/Aunts? People have become rich - materialistically and poor in values. Now you might say they know how you feel about them, but how many of them really feel it? I'm talking about "feeling" and "knowing", and there's a there's a huge difference between them. You should be genuinely able to say to yourself one day that they "felt" that you really cared for them. Can you say that?

Soda Pop Effect..

Was having this idea of joining some sort of a club like Lions or Rotaract or somthing like that for some time now. And finaly went to a meeting/workshop of a certian club last tuesday. Was introduced by a colleague of mine. Pretty impressed from the out come, though I'm in doubt if I want to carry on woth it. The problem with these things is that along the way you lose the momentum, the interest and so on, that you had at the begining. Call it the Soda Pop Effect. Hope this can keep my interest glued atleast for some time to come.
